The Board of the Ontario Welsh Festival is thrilled to announce that Sheryl Clay-Newell is the 2024 Gold Award recipient. Please join us in celebrating her at the Gold Award Banquet on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Arden Park Hotel in Stratford.

Sheryl has been an integral part of the Welsh community for over 35 years. Whether it is sharing her beautiful voice or her superb organizational skills, Sheryl is very generous with her time and always ready to help in any project. Her contributions have definitely made a significant impact on maintaining a Welsh presence in the province of Ontario. She more than deserves this honour. Congratulations, Sheryl!
