There will be a warm welcome awaiting you on Friday afternoon in the Tea Room. While you enjoy a complimentary cup of tea with welshcakes and bara brith and catch up with old friends, our festival harpist, Mary Muckle, will be there to serenade you. The tea room will be open between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Donations toward the cost of the tea are welcome.
The Market Place, Y Farchnad, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m, Blakes Foyer
The market place will be open on Friday from 2:00 -5:00 p.m. Here you will find a abundance of items to purchase. A silent auction of treasures will be on display in the market place for you to bid on throughout the weekend. Tour of Labatt Brewery, Taith Bragdy Labatt, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., 150 Simcoe Street
Come and visit this iconic brewery in London, its original home, established 171 years ago. See the whole process including the bottling process and enjoy a tasting in the lounge. $15 per person. Tour starts at 1:00pm and runs for approximately 1.5 hours. People are asked to find their own way to the location, but car pools can be arranged. Please note: Everyone on the tour MUST wear closed toe, closed heel and flat footwear (running shoes preferred). Also, following our food safety policies, all tour guests MUST not wear earrings or any other facial piercings, necklaces, bracelets or watches; rings with jewels must be taped with medical tape (which we have). Anyone with medic alert necklaces can wear them under their clothing. Please make sure that you follow these guidelines.
Noson Lawen, 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Grand Ballroom East
On Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. things liven up with our Noson Lawen. Your participation in the Noson Lawen is welcomed and encouraged. Following the Noson Lawen will be the Afterglow with a chance to share some cheer and join in with a sing-along around the piano. Bring your hymn books!
