There will be a warm welcome awaiting you on Friday afternoon in the Tea Room. Enjoy a cup of tea with welsh cakes as you catch up with old friends. Our festival harpist, Mary Muckle, will be there to serenade us. The tearoom will be open between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Donations toward the cost of the tea are welcome.

A selection of Festival “swag” and other Welsh items will be available for sale on Friday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Cinema Wales – Sinema Cymru – 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Monsella A
On Friday afternoon, we will be screening the film Y Syrcas by Kevin Allen. Filmed in Ceredigion, Wales, the film is set in 1848, and tells the story of a young girl who is bewitched by the excitement of the travelling circus as it visits her small town in west Wales.
Please note the same film will be repeated on Saturday afternoon 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Noson Lawen – 7:30 p.m. – Monsella & Foyer
On Friday evening at 7:30 p.m., things liven up with our Noson Lawen. Your participation in the Noson Lawen is welcomed and encouraged. The Noson Lawen will be held in the Monsella Room of the Hilton Garden Inn. Please contact Betty Cullingworth at nosonlawen@ontariowelshfestival.ca if you are interested in taking part. Following the Noson Lawen will be the Afterglow with a chance to share some cheer and join in with a sing-along around the piano.
