Banquet

The Gold Award Celebration Banquet is a special time for us to come together. We get caught up with old friends and make new ones. We also celebrate the recipient of the annual Gold Award honouring a person who has made a significant contribution to Welsh life in Ontario, and has been presented since 2011.

We are thrilled to announce Alan Thomas as the 2026 Gold Award Recipient. Alan’s contribution will be honoured at the Banquet on Friday, April 24, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Banquet Menu

Order deadline: April 5, 2026.

Starter: Potato and Leek Soup

Mains (select one)

  • Braised Top Sirloin, rosemary red wine jus, roasted herb potato and maple glazed root veg
  • Grilled Salmon with oven roasted corn and avocado salsa, duchess potato and saute veg
  • Vegetarian Butternut squash ravioli with romanesco and goat cheese pine nut crumb

Dessert: Vanilla Crème Brule

  • Panko crusted Chicken Fingers, house cut fries, butter tossed fresh veg and ketchup mayo mixed sauce.
  • Butter tossed Spaghetti with meat balls marinara and parmesan cheese
  • Baked 5 Cheese Macaroni and Cheese

Dessert: Vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge sauce
