Stratford Festival Warehouse and Archives Tour – Taith Ystordy Gŵyl Stratford
We encourage you to arrive early on Friday (or come on Thursday!) to participate in this interesting guided tour between 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.; when you will explore highlights from the Stratford Festival’s unique history. Discover a vast selection of costumes and see a dazzling range of rare films, photographs, and scenery and props. This tour will show how onstage masks and costumes are the heart of drama. Make sure you bring your camera to capture an in-costume memory.
Tickets for the tour are $12 per person. Although not too far a walk; we would be happy to arrange carpooling for those requiring a ride. Please check the appropriate box on the form if you need a ride, or if you can provide a ride.
Welcome Tea – Tê Croeso
There will be a warm welcome awaiting you on Friday afternoon in the Daffodil Tea Room, located directly across from the Market Place. Our festival harpist, Mary Muckle will be there to serenade you as you catch up with old friends. The team room will be open between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Tea with Welsh cakes and bara brith is a bargain at $3 per cup. Tickets for the welcome tea can be purchased at the event.
The Market Place – Y Farchnad
The market place will be open on Friday from 2:00 -5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 – 5:00 p.m. Here you will find a plethora of items to purchase. A silent auction of treasures will be on display in the market place for you to bid on throughout the weekend. Noson Lawen –
On Friday evening at 7:30 p.m things liven up with our Noson Lawen. Your participation in the Noson Lawen is welcomed and encouraged. Following the Noson Lawen will be the Afterglow with a chance to share some cheer and join in with a sing-along around the piano.
